803-345-5526 / 803-945-7471 About Us Our practice was founded by Dr. Sam Holstein, Jr. who became Chapin's first dentist in 1970 and retired in 2005. From humble beginnings in the old Eleazer home on Highway 76, we have moved to a new facility at 425A Lexington Ave that allows us to treat our patients in a comfortable setting using the latest in preventative and restorative methods. Dr. S. Britt Holstein was born and raised in Chapin. He received a BS in Preprofessional Health from Clemson University and his doctorate from the Medical University of SC in Charleston. He has attended numerous post graduate courses including the Pankey Institute, Dawson Academy, and the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education. Dr. Holstein and his wife, Renee, have two children, Anna and Thomas. When not at the office, he enjoys spending time with his family and anything that involves cars or airplanes.
Our doctors, staff and family along with Celebrate Freedom Foundation honor our veterans at the Chapin Labor Day Parade. Dr. R. Gregg Jowers, Jr. is from Northeast Columbia where both his father and grandfather were primary care physicians. He attended Spring Valley High School, received his degree in Biology from Presbyterian College, and a doctorate from the Medical University of SC in Charleston followed by a General Practice Residency at Palmetto Health Richland. He and his wife Michelle have 3 daughters, Aislyn, Blythe, and Kayla Reese. Dr. Jowers spends his free time enjoying family along with fishing and cycling.
